And we're back
Now that the World Cup has ended (I was rooting for France. Les Blues! Les Blues!), I can have my life back.
Apparently, I was the only person alive to not to go see
Pirates of the Caribbean 2 over the weekend.
Entourage on HBO continues to be one of the best shows on television. It’s hard to find a program that matches its smarts and sass.
I really liked Johnny Cash’s American V: A Hundred Highways, which came out July 4. A lot.
One of my favorite musicians Sufjan Stevens is going back on tour, this time with a small string orchestra. Doesn’t that sound delightful? Sadly, he’s not playing anywhere near me.
The Emmy nominations came out last week. I don’t really care about award shows. Especially ones where the nomination comes in July. Of course I’ll be rooting for The Office, the best show on TV.
It’s up for a few noms.
Check out the slate for movie producer Avi Arad. He’s the big cheese behind all the Marvel Comics movies. There’s really no end in sight for the comic book movie phenomenon. Apparently, people are just clamoring for that Ant-Man movie.
There’s few in there I’m interested in seeing. That’s really sad considering I’m a huge dork.
The San Francisco Chronicle has an excellent pop blog. It really is a thing of beauty. Sometimes it’s too regional to San Francisco for my liking, but that’s expected. Some of the site’s bloggers are excellent, though. This entry on fat people was pretty good. It mentions some new abomination KFC Chicken is selling that combines corn, chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy into one big mess. Disgusting. It could be worse, like Taco Bell’s advertisements for a “fourth meal” of tacos right before bed.

A.) The best highlight of the World Cup is of the French dude head-butting the Italian dude.
B.) I know you got your nuts in a twist for The Sub-Mariner.
Hey, I haven't seen Pirates either.
Well, until tomorrow.
Its going to suck.
Brad, I'm actually looking forward to the second Avengers animated movie.
Miles, at least you got the suck out of the way quick. I get to have it drug out for a little while before seeing it against my will. It's like yanking a cheap bandaid off your dick.
Uhmmm yea I was just about to look up Sufjan dates when I saw you said there are none near. And yea, PA is the closest it seems. Shit one for that!!
