time killer

Syd Barrett, founder of Pink Floyd kicked the bucket. You know, I really thought he died a decade ago. They're not releasing the cause of the death, but I'll be very letdown if it has nothing to do with LSD. Yes, I know you can't overdose on LSD, but I hope he found a way how.

Lindsay Lohan celebrated her 20th birthday recently. Whoopity doo, right? It turns out Life & Style sponsored the event for a cool $100,000. That's right, someone paid to have Lohan rope together Courtney Love (weird), Lois Lane, Woody Harrelson (huh?), Owen Wilson and Eva Mendes, and other friends for the bash. Page 6, which I hate, has the story. Lohan gave out gifts to the people who were supposed to be giving out gifts and everything. What a friend. Here's the best part: Lohan security got rid of any paparazzi that might have gotten photos and scooped the ethically retarded L&S. They even got rid of some guy taking photos from a boat. Bravo.

American V by Johnny Cash topped the Billboard charts with more than 88,000 sales. It narrowly beat outNelly Furtado's weird rap album. This is Cash's first No. 1 album since 1969's Johnny Cash at San Quentin.

Bob Dylan has a new album, Modern Times, out on Aug. 29. Check out the purty cover.

The most unlikely bank robber ever.
